The K-9 Caddie® was developed out of necessity following the TPLO procedure on our pal Duke's right leg. When we picked Duke up from the surgical clinic, we were given a bath towel to help facilitate his movement during his rehabilitation.

Within the first day, Rebecca & I agreed that we needed something more ergonomic than a towel to help aid Duke's mobility. The result was the birth of original K-9 Caddie® which was designed and produced in our garage in Huntington Beach California.

Following the TPLO procedure on Duke's left leg a year later, we realized that other post-op canines and their human companions should benefit from the caddie. So, we decided to offer it to canine rehabilitation specialists and veterinary surgeons who specialize in knee, hip, spine and neurological corrective procedures.

Although production of the K-9 Caddie® no longer takes place in our garage, we are truly a "cottage industry", and are very passionate about bringing comfort to canines and their human companions.

Duke, our love and the inspiration for the caddie, passed away on October 18, 2006, just nine days after receiving his first Chemotherapy treatment to battle Canine Lymphoma.  Through it all, Duke was a trooper.
